Types of Memorials
Flat "flush" Marker
Union Cemetery can help you memorialize your loved one by helping you come up with a design that you will love. "Flush markers" are "flush" with the ground. Color shown is Morning Rose. Our flush markers start @ $950 that includes the $274 foundation fee, setting fee and sales tax.
Raised Bevel
Raised "bevel" markers are like flush markers, but raised 8 inches from the ground. Color shown is Grey. *We require 8" minimum height on bevels. Price starts @$1200 for single 24 x 12 x 8 and 36 x 12 x 8 Double start @$1,800.
Traditional Monument
Traditional upright monuments are the most recognizable throughout all cemeteries. Photo is of Gray granite. We require 8" die tablets in Union Cemetery. Our standard size monuments example 36 x 8 x 24 die and 48 x 14 x 8 Base starts @$5,000.
Foundation cost
In addition to any memorial sale, there is a foundation fee which is for the concrete that we pour before the memorial is brought to the cemetery. The memorial is placed on top of the concrete foundation to keep the memorial from settling or sinking over the years. Foundation charges are size dependent. Ask a staff member to help you price the size you need. Our current foundation cost is $.95 per square inch rounded to nearest dollar.
